Mr. Negrón-Casasnovas worked as counsel to the Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources after graduating magna cum laude from the Interamerican University Law School in 1994. After obtaining an LL.M. in Energy and Environmental Law from Tulane University in 1996, he joined private practice.
Mr. Negrón-Casasnovas is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Puerto Rico Construction Cluster. In collaboration with the Construction Cluster, he was instrumental in the development of the Regulations for the Management of Used Tires promulgated by the Puerto Rico Environmental Quality Board (“EQB”) in 2011, and has been an active participant in recent developments with regards to the EQB used tire program.
Mr. Negrón-Casasnovas is a member of the Puerto Rico Bar Association, the American Bar Association’s Sections on Environmental, Natural Resources and Energy and Administrative Law, and the American Bar Association’s Water Quality and Wetlands Committee.
He is admitted to practice in Puerto Rico, in the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico and in the U. S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit.
